We are two sisters whose love of babies has lead us to the art of ReBorning.
Our babies are available world wide.
If your not familiar with reborning it's the art of transforming a vinyl baby doll in to a one of a kind heirloom collectable baby doll. The object of this art form is to transform the doll in to the most life like doll possible. This is accomplished by applying multiple thin layers of Genesis Heat Set paints. These paints are permanent as they bond to the vinyl directly. After the many hours of painting the rooting of each individual hair is applied. The best hair comes from first cut angora kid mohair. The hair is permanently sealed within the head with water proof industrial sealant. When this step is completed the baby is assembled together with a soft body. The body, limbs and head are all weighted to resemble the weight of an actual newborn baby. These beautiful babies wear real infant clothing and diapers. After these steps the newly reborned infant is ready to be adopted and delivered.
There have been multiple news media stories regarding this art form referred to as fake babies. These babies are the same art form however most artists prefer the term reborn.
We offer custom babies for those who have a specific look in mind or predesigned babies who like the appeal of seeing a reborn already completed.
